Our retired clients’ deck was slowly falling over at their lake home due to its age and their HOA doesn’t allow them to set footers in the ground.
We built them a mega-deck that will still be standing long after the house. No footers in the ground meant big 6”x6” posts set on concrete bases and lots of cross-bracing. We also built a fence-style railing with a bar top for setting drinks and plants. Additionally, we created steps with a lowered riser height to make it much easier on our aging clients’ knees.
